Reflection
What I learned
Negotiation and Collaboration with Local Businesses:
Engaging with various businesses in the UCLA neighborhood was a pivotal aspect of this project. Negotiating deals and securing permissions to display logos on the platform's UI required a delicate balance of communication, persuasion, and understanding each business's unique needs. This experience not only honed my negotiation skills but also highlighted the importance of fostering collaborative relationships to enhance the user experience.
Emphasis on Simplicity and Intuitiveness:
Designing an intuitive and user-friendly interface was paramount to ensure seamless coupon redemption. Striving for simplicity in the UI design was a constant focus, aiming to create an effortless and enjoyable experience for users. Implementing straightforward navigation and clear redemption processes became a cornerstone in making the platform easily accessible and functional for its intended audience in the UCLA community.
