Challenge

When looking for college clubs, students often spend a lot of time finding the right club, and looking at what club activities to attend among fragmented information. The lack of a unified source forces students to navigate disparate channels, from bulletin boards to scattered online platforms, making the search for the ideal club a time-consuming and often frustrating endeavor that can result in missing out on great opportunities.

Goal

The primary goal is to create a centralized platform where college students can easily find clubs they might be interested in joining.

Our design focuses are making the process less demanding, more personalized, and time efficient, enabling diverse student communities to find the best fit.

We initiated a user research through interviews and surveys within student community. Our research revealed that over 80% employees felt overwhelmed by the amount of scattered information and needed a more streamlined way to access relevant data.

Design Challenge

Painpoints

Students need a platform that integrate volunteer work opportunities at one place so that they can quickly find works and projects that match their skills sets.

Charities need a process of recruiting student volunteers with a variety of skills.

Using a user journey map, I was able to clarify each pain point and provide strong recommendations based on student’s emotions and contexts while finding deals.
